TARGET ZERO is simulation software for process operators and engineers. Not a course library, not a classroom, not a consultancy — a plant you can operate, break and recover, as often as you need, from wherever you are.

The difference shows in the upsets

Anyone can model a plant at steady state. What matters in practice is how it responds when something goes wrong — and that is where most simulation quietly stops being real.

Our models carry real design constants: heat-exchanger approach temperatures, controller tuning, trip logic. An operator who has seen the real thing recognises a wrong response immediately. Try to break one and judge for yourself.

Our position

We build competence. Your framework certifies it.

Every plant has its own operator qualification standards and its own regulator. You do not need another credential — you need practice that feeds the framework you already answer to, and evidence you can put in front of an auditor.

A certificate says someone passed. A record shows what they did.

Practice records

Every session logged automatically: hours practised, scenarios completed, upsets handled, scores achieved. Generated per session, not compiled by hand.

Employer verification

An employer enters a verification code and sees the record directly from us. Independently checkable, not a document that can be edited.

Bespoke module authoring

Modules built against your own P&IDs and operating procedures, so operators practise your plant rather than a generic one.

How this differs from a training provider

Most providers in this market sell people — instructors, consultants, classroom time. That is a legitimate model and it is not ours.

What we are not

Buyers in this market ask this constantly, and vendors are often vague about it. We would rather answer it before you ask.

  • We are not an educational institution. We are a software company. We hold no accreditation and claim none.
  • We issue no certifications, qualifications or diplomas. What you receive is a practice record — a factual log of hours practised and scores achieved, like a pilot's logbook.
  • A practice record is not a statement of competence. It does not qualify anyone to operate equipment unsupervised. That determination belongs to the employing organisation, under its own framework and regulator.
  • We do not guarantee competency. Nobody honestly can. We record what happened and let you draw the conclusion.
This is a deliberate position, not a limitation we are working around. Certification bodies own certification, and they should. What they cannot produce is an auditable record of what a person actually did, scenario by scenario — and that is the thing an auditor can read.
